ABOUT

The Motion Picture Alliance (MPA) is a film production company with headquarters in London, England serving a global network of creatives, industry contacts and corporate affiliates.  Founded in 2008 by Austro-american filmmaker Christian Pichler, in partnership with Alan Scott, Don MacNab and Paul Burke, the Alliance is built on the principle of combining the efforts of new, raw talent with seasoned industry veterans to create critically acclaimed independent entertainment, proving modest budgets can be utilized to maximum effect.

As a forward thinking, modern business the MPA seeks to produce internally developed concepts (and select externally sourced projects) through to post production, working in association with distribution companies around the globe.  The MPA appreciates the impact of the internet on the industry and aims to sit at the cutting edge of new developments.  The internet also plays a large role in providing a global office space, allowing our development and production teams to collaborate 24 hours a day, keeping our projects and business moving towards our ambitious goals.

The MPA is focused on producing our first projects in the United Kingdom (and, as required, other worldwide locations), giving a distinctly British identity and opening opportunities for budding filmmakers in the region.  While our vision is global, we strongly believe in power of community and we will use a network of locally sourced talent, supported by experienced filmmakers to impart knowledge and advise.

Already, the Alliance is recognized as an exciting, upcoming independent production company, with a fresh perspective on filmmaking.  While we don't place genre restrictions on our projects, we demand high quality, individualistic material that is moving, provoking and above all, entertaining.
