The Motion Picture Alliance is on the march!

2008 heralds the formation of the Motion Picture Alliance (MPA), a film production company based in London, England backed by a global network of creative talent and contacts.  Our goal?  To produce exhilerating, emotional and downright entertaining motion pictures.

The MPA was founded by a collective of like-minded creative filmmakers.  Hollywood director CHRISTIAN PICHLER brings a wealth of top level industry experience to the team.  Screenwriting teacher DON MACNAB-STARK and upcoming UK writers ALAN SCOTT and PAUL BURKE round off the core Alliance members that will drive the company forward over the coming years.

The Alliance is open to filmmakers, actors, producers,  PR gurus, composers, graphic designers, VFX geeks, costumers, graphic designers, runners.... in a nutshell, everyone involved in the production of a film.  A glossy CV packed with years of industry experience isn't necessary to get your foot in the door, the MPA is simply looking for people with a burning passion for creating quality films across a whole spectrum of genres.  With the inaugural projects set to shoot in the United Kingdom, the Alliance is currently focused on finding the right mix of raw, new talent and seasoned veterans that will propel our films to the success we envision.

The MPA is currently developing two features for production later in 2008, with more plans already in the pipeline.  Leading the way is Christian Pichler's SPHINX, a spiritual tale of good and evil following one man's quest to understand his origins and the mysterious powers that flow through him.  Also in development is Paul Burke's SAVANT, a surreal adventure about a struggling writer who suddenly finds himself at the top of the best seller lists via a technological implant that translates his dreams and desires into works of powerful, evocative literature.

With the launch of our brand new website, www.mpalliance.org, we have provided a unique window into the ongoing development of the MPA and our respective projects.  We look forward to bringing you a host of quality productions in the months and years ahead so please stay tuned for news and updates.
